generally appointments take approximately 1 hour
your comfort is paramount and you will have short breaks to relax during the surgery
the freezing is the only thing you will feel during the appointment | after the onset of freezing you will feel nothing | except the occasional gentle tug
most people say that afterwards the pain is usually felt most from the roof of the mouth rather than the grafted area | we will make a thin appliance for you to help protect the donor site and mitigate the pain
the amount of recession covered after the graft depends on many factors, which are all discussed at your first visit
most people can function normally immediately after the procedure | but we do recommend you take it easy for the first couple of days afterwards
